My Creator, today grant me the wisdom to seek Your wisdom. Help me to Walk of the Red Road.

While taking books out of the library for my next class I ran across a copy of this book written by Paul Wallace,
with a foreword by Chief Leon Shenandoah and an epilogue written by John Mohawk. John Mohawk was a professor at the University of Buffalo and recently passed away, which is why the book caught my eye, I'll be taking my spring classes at UB this semester. That and the cover of the book is illustrated by John Kahionhes Fadden. I did not have the privilegde of meeting John Mohawk but he is very highly spoken of around the American Studies Department at UB.

That said the book is an excellent read. The full title is The Iroquois Book of Life, White Roots of Peace.

I had the honor of seeing  the Tree of Peace sculpture when I was at the Smithsonian's American Indian Museum. These are pictures of the sculpture that I took when I was there.
