My new physics professor astro1701 sent me to a self-guided tour of the Aurora's and I found a website that FORECASTS the Aurora! I thought the Aurora Borealis was mainly visible in the winter (North America) but it seems as though I was wrong.

Forecast:Auroral activity will be low. Weather permitting, low-level displays will be visible overhead from Barrow to Fairbanks and visible low on the northern horizon from as far south as Anchorage, Juneau and Whitehorse, Canada.

Additional Forecaster comments: Note that the sky is still too light during the 10 pm to 2 am auroral window for all observers northward of geographic latitude 60 deg. to view the aurora. The forecast applies to observers south of latitude 60 deg until August 20th when it will extend to 65 deg latitude. Note that we are predicting active aurora for the period 26 August through Sept 2 that will be visible to everyone.
